1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Nouer ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Nouer is an AI-powered knowledge management application that provides note-taking, domain tree organization, knowledge graph visualization, and spaced repetition features. The Service is available as a desktop application and may expand to other platforms in the future.

3. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
  • You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

4. User Content

You retain all ownership rights to the content you create in Nouer. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

You are responsible for the content you create and must not use the Service for any unlawful or harmful purpose.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

  • Nouer offers free and paid subscription plans.
  • Paid subscriptions are billed on a monthly basis.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • AI credit purchases are non-refundable but never expire.
  • We reserve the right to modify pricing with reasonable notice.

6. Data Export and Portability

You may export your data at any time using the built-in export feature. We are committed to zero vendor lock-in and will always provide a way for you to retrieve your data in a standard, portable format.

7. AI Features

Nouer uses AI to provide features such as domain tree generation, link discovery, and content suggestions. AI-generated outputs are provided as-is and may not always be accurate. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying AI-generated content.

8. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application.
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nouer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these terms. Upon termination, you may export your data within a reasonable period. We will provide at least 30 days' notice before any service discontinuation.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the application.
